Results published: Short-term prednisolone offers HOPE for painful hand osteoarthritis

Presenter: Féline Kroon, Leiden University Medical Center, the Netherlands

The HOPE investigators aim to evaluate 6 weeks of treatment with low-dose prednisolone (10 mg/day) versus placebo for pain relief in patients with hand osteoarthritis. Kroon will present the results of the trial, with a primary endpoint of VAS finger pain.
