Andrea Fava

Andrea Fava is a Rheumatology Fellow at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He is currently studying new mechanisms of lupus nephritis using kidney single cell genomics and urine proteomics along with Dr Michelle Petri and the Accelerating Medicines Partnership.

Fava earned his medical degree at San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy. He then joined the Johns Hopkins Division of Rheumatology in 2011 to research autoantigen specific T cells in rheumatic diseases. He is now completing his clinical fellowship after his residency training in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins.
