These factors can affect the function, diversity and half-life of the final protein. b | Potential post-translational modification of proteins can define three important characteristics of biologic agents: pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and immunogenicity. All these parameters should be assessed at specific stages of the clinical development of biosimilar agents.
