2. Disease classification

Author: Angelo Ravelli

Publisher: Springer International Publishing

Abstract

Over the years, several classification systems for chronic arthritis in childhood have been proposed. In the 1970 s, two sets of criteria were developed: those for juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA), devised by a committee of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), and those for juvenile chronic arthritis (JCA), established by the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR).
