Liron Caplan

Liron Caplan is the section chief for rheumatology at the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Colorado, USA, and a staff physician at the University of Colorado Hospital. He is co-director of the University of Colorado Program to Advance Spondyloarthritis Treatment (U.C.PAST) and has served in leadership roles with the Program to Understand the Longterm Outcomes in SpondyloARthritis (PULSAR) registry, Veterans Affairs Rheumatoid Arthritis registry, and National Data Bank for Rheumatic Diseases, among others. Dr Caplan engages in clinically oriented epidemiology and health service research within the field of pharmacoepidemiology and auto-immunity/rheumatology.  His areas of interest include spondyloarthritis and retrospective analysis of databases, as well as construction and use of patient registries.
