Jinoos Yazdany is Chief of the Division of Rheumatology at San Francisco General Hospital and the Alice Betts Endowed Professor of Medicine at The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in the USA. She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, her MD from The University of California, Los Angeles, her MPH from Harvard University, and completed her internal medicine and rheumatology training at UCSF. As a rheumatologist specializing in systemic lupus erythematosus, she practices at SFGH and co-directs the UCSF Health Lupus Clinic. Dr Yazdany is Vice-Chair of the COVID-19 Global Rheumatology Alliance and a member of the NIH COVID-19 Treatment Guideline Panel.
