Marwan Bukhari MBBS, MSc, FRCP, PhD, MAcadMEd is a consultant rheumatologist at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust and an honorary senior lecturer at Manchester University. His clinical base is at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary in the UK. Dr Bukhari trained in rheumatology and epidemiology in Manchester. His research interests include inflammatory arthritis and quality of life in patients with arthritis and osteoporosis. Dr Bukhari is acting director for postgraduate medical education and academic foundation tutor. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Rheumatology. He is the northern regional advisor for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society and the north west coast musculoskeletal National Institute for Health Research lead.
